'The Diary of Manu Gandhi' book released today

  • The Culture and Tourism Minister (Independent Charge)- Shri Prahlad Singh Patel (age 59 years) launched the book named 'The Diary of Manu Gandhi'at a function in the auditorium of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library in New Delhi.
  • On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, The book has been brought out by National Archives of India in collaboration with Oxford University Press.
  • The book originally written in the Gujarati language has been edited and translated by a well-known scholar Dr. Tridip Suhrud.
  • The first volume of the Diary of Manu Gandhi covers the period of 1943-1944. Manu Gandhi was a grand niece of Mahatma Gandhi.
