Oscar awardee Richard Williams dies at 86


  • Legendary Canadian–British animator Richard Williams died of cancer in Bristol, England. He was 86 years.
  • He started his career in 1958 with 'The Little Island' film and he received BAFTA Award for this movie.
  • During the 60s, Richard had directed the Academy Award-winning A Christmas Carol (1971) animated movie. During his film career, he was honored with 3-time Oscar and BAFTA Award.
