- Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh- Babulal Gaur died at the age of 89 due to a heart attack at Narmada Hospital in Bhopal.
- During 2004-05, he served as the 16th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. He was elected as the MLA (10-times) from Govindpura Assembly seat as a BJP candidate.
