- The International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism is celebrated every year on 21st August around the world
- In 2017, It was established by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in order to honor the victims and survivors of terrorism.
- According to the UNs Report, nearly 3-quarters of all deaths caused by terrorism were in just 5-countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, and Syria.
