International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism

The International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism is celebrated every year on 21st August around the world
In 2017, It was established by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in order to honor the victims and survivors of terrorism.
According to the UNs Report, nearly 3-quarters of all deaths caused by terrorism were in just 5-countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, and Syria.
