- Sadbhavana Diwas is observed annually on 20th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi.
- During 1984-89, Rajiv Gandhi served as the youngest 6th Prime Minister of India at the age of 40. This year will be the 75th Birth Anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi.
