GST (Goods and Services Tax) will not be levied on the services offered by the banks to customers in the country such as ATM, check book or statement. This information has been released by the Central Board of Indirect Texts and Customs.

However, the tax department has said that the bank will recover GST if the late payment of the credit card dues or failure to pay EMI. Apart from this, all GST services will be provided in addition to free services. The meaning of this is to say that If the limit of free withdrawals from ATMs, after the expiry of any withdrawals are made then it will be GST.
