Advertisement

1. Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts Darjeeling and Kalimpong from 01 November 2018 to 02 November 2018 at the Ghoom Army Ground. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 18 August 2018 to 16 October 2018. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail on 17 Oct 2018. Candidates should reach the venue on the given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.

2. Candidates will be screened for the following Categories and as per Qualitative Requirements mentioned below.

1. Qualification: SSLC/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject. No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above.

2. Age Limit: 17½-21 Years

3. Physical Measurement:
a) Height - 157 cm
b) Weight - 48 Kgs
c) Chest - 77 Cms with 5 Cms Expansion

3. Candidates will be tested as stated below.
a) Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site)

b) Physical Measurement (At Rally Site):- Physical measurements will be carried out as per the Physical standards listed.

c) Medical Test:-

As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site.
Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/ CH/ BH for specialist review. Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves to the nominated MH / CH / BH within 05 days at the referral and report back to ARO for an issue of Admit Card for CEE in the case declared FIT

d) Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE):-

Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at a nominated venue. Location, Date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.
Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself.
Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by concerned specialist/ specialists at MH/ CH/ BH.
The result of the written examination will be declared on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is a responsibility of each candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation.

5. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.

6. Recruitment into the army is free of service. Candidates are advised not to pay the bribe to anyone for recruitments as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment at all stages is computerized and transparent. Therefore candidates are advised to be beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.
