  • The MD of TRIFED Pravir Krishna inaugurated the new Tribes India Outlet at Prayagraj Airport through video conferencing. It is the second in the Prayagraj city and the fourth outlet in the UP state.
  • Highlights,
    - The TRIFED has tie-up with the Airport Authority of India (AAI) to set up 9 new Tribes India Outlets at Chennai, Jaipur, Udaipur, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, and Goa Airports.
  • About Tribes India Outlets,
    - Tribes India is a brand under TRIFED, which was launched in 1987. It comes under the administrative control of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
    - Its purpose to established Tribes India Outlets is to support and promote the economic interest of the hitherto overlooked tribal artisans of India.
