The Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointed of Giridhar Aramane as the new Secretary of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Prior to this, He was serving as the Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat. And, he had also served as the Joint Secretary in the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas during 2012-14.
Giridhar Aramane, Giridhar Aramane is a 1988 batch IAS Officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre. He has done his post-graduation (M.Tech) in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras, Besides, he also did an MA in Economics.
