In Tamil Nadu, the new 38th district has been formed 'Mayiladuthurai' after bifurcating the Nagappattinam district. This announcement is made by the 7th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri Edappadi K. Palaniswami today.
The new Tamil Nadu 38th District will be headquartered at Mayiladuthurai, in the heart of the Delta region.
