2020 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak

  • The 2020 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup has been postponed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the world. This decision has been taken by the FIFA-Confederations working group.
  • The 7th edition of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup was to be held in India (Navi Mumbai, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar) from 2nd to 21st November 2020. But, it has postponed due to COVID-19.
  • In another announcement, the FIFA-Confederations working group has also postponed FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup which was scheduled between August and September in Panama and Costa Rica.
