  • IIFA Awards 2019: Ranveer Singh won the Best (Male) Actor for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Padmaavat, and Alia Bhat won the best actress for her role in Raazi film.
  • In another award category, Legendary actor Jagdeep Jaffry awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 20th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) for his contribution in the field of cinema.
  • The first edition of IIFA was held on 24th to 25th January 2016 at the Gachibowli Athletic Stadium, Hyderabad.
