Renowned Doordarshan (DD) News Anchor- Neelum Sharma passed away today due to cancer. She was 50-years.
Noted Anchor- Neelum Sharma had received the Nari Shakti Award by R. N. Kovind (President of India). The award function was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on 8th March 2019.
In 1995, she started her career as a News Anchor in Doordarshan. And after-that she conducted programs like- Tejasvini and Badi-Charcha.
