National Women's Commission Rejects Survey of Women's Safety

National Women's Commission Rejects Survey of Women's Safety

The National Commission for Women has rejected a survey report issued by a London agency about the safety of women in India. The survey said that India is the world's most dangerous country for women. In this list, India was shown worse than Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Rekha Sharma, head of the National Commission for Women, questioned this report and said it wrong. The National Commission for Women's Commission says that very few women have been taken in this report and if this report has been made based on more painful complaints then this report is nonsense.

Rekha Sharma says that the crime against women was increasing even before, but now more transparency, due to the active media and strict laws, the complaints of crimes against women are getting recorded in more and more. Ekha Sharma says that complaints of sexual harassment against working women were not recorded due to lack of proper law, which is now being recorded which is a good thing.
