Seychelles's Maritime Strength will Increase, India Handed Dornier Aircraft


Under the Defense Agreement, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj handed over the Dornier Aircraft to the President of Seychelles today. Sushma Swaraj gave this aircraft to President Danny Faroe in Palam Technical Area in Delhi, which would increase Seychelles' maritime strength.

In a meeting with President Danny Faroe, Sushma Swaraj said that there was a special bond between the two countries. He said, "India and Seychelles have always been a strong security partner. Indian Navy ships are deployed regularly to protect Seychelles. India is also committed to supporting Seychelles especially through capacity building in the field of maritime security.
