1. Bond Bank has re-appointed its CEO and MD Chandra Shekhar Ghosh for 3 years and his new term will start from 10 July 2018.
2. Thanks to Saina Nehwal of India's star-female badminton player, the Indian Badminton Mixed Team has won gold medal for the first time in the history of Commonwealth by defeating Malaysia 3-1.
3. A Dubai court has sentenced three Indians to 517 years of imprisonment in the case of fraud. This matter is related to lime of thousands of investors in the multi-million dollar fraud case. It is alleged that the company raised money from investors by promising huge returns and failed in returns. This verdict was pronounced against the Sydney-based Sydney Limousone and his senior account specialist Ryan D'Souza.
4. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a penalty of Rs 3 crore on IDBI Bank for not following the instructions. RBI has imposed this penalty on IDBI Bank for not complying with the instructions issued regarding income recognition and asset classification norms.
5. ISRO successfully launched IRNSS-1I Navigation Satellite. PSLV-C41 launch vehicle left for space with IRNSS-1I satellite and after sometime the satellite was installed in its predetermined class.
6. India's first 5G laboratories established in IIT-Delhi. Its aim is to establish India as a major global player in the development of technology standardization, research and development and 5G equipment.
7. Egypt's High Junker Hassan Hamada has won gold medal at the IPC Athletics Grand Prix. He had a jump of 1.76 meters in T 42/44 high jump.
8. Shatrughan Sinha has been awarded Life Time Achievement Award. Shatrughan Sinha has given this award to the important contributions made by him in art and politics.
9. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has been placed in the list of world's billionaires. Their total wealth is $ 112 billion, which is approximately 7.5 lakh crore rupees. Bezos is the world's first billionaire who has more than $ 100 billion worth of assets.
10. The MasterCard is placed at the 52nd position in the index list of women entrepreneurs. The US has been ranked first and China second in this list. This list covers 57 countries.
