WBBPE has announced recruitment notification for the post of Primary Teacher, eligible candidates can submit their application before 06-01-2021.
Eligibility Criteria - WBBPE Recruitment 2021
- Should be an Indian.
- Should pass the H.S (+2) Examination or it's equivalent from any recognized Board/ Council/ University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate (where aggregate is given)/ aggregate of the best five (where no aggregate is mentioned). There is, however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the applicants belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PH/ Ex-Serviceman category. Where there is no aggregate marks, 50% / 45% of the total of the best five scores excluding EVS (where it is not an elective subject) for eligibility will be counted.
Required Qualification - WBBPE Recruitment 2021
- No person shall be appointed by the Council as a teacher unless he is a citizen of India and has completed the age of 18 years as on 1st day of January of the year of advertisement (i.e. 01.01.2020) and has not completed the age of 40 years on the 1st day of January of the year of advertisement (i.e. 01.01.2020). Relaxation of age as per the existing rule of the State Govt. is admissible.
- The candidate shall possess the minimum educational and training qualification as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education prevailing as on the date of publication of recruitment notification.
AND
- Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2014, conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education under the order of the Govt. of West Bengal in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Relaxation: Candidates belonging to reserved categories viz. candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes {OBC-A and OBC-B), Exempted Categories (EC), Ex-Servicemen and for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, shall be allowed relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks.
AND
- Ability to read, write, and speak in the language relating to the medium of schools for which the candidate wishes to apply.
Selection Procedure - WBBPE Recruitment 2021
After prima facie scrutiny of the duly filled application forms submitted by the candidates having NCTE prescribed qualification and fulfilling the conditions prescribed in West Bengal Primary School Teachers Recruitment Rules, 2016 as amended upto date will be called for the Viva-Voice/ Interview, and Aptitude Test on and from 10.01.2021 to 17.01.2021.
