Eligibility Criteria For VMMC-SJH Senior Resident Recruitment 2020
The Candidate should possess Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma (approved by MCI) in the concerned specialty after M.B.B.S. failing which MBBS with two years’ experience in a Govt. organization out of which one year in the concerned specialty.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ENDOCRINOLOGY:- The desired qualification is MD/ DNB in Medicine or Paediatrics.
ELIGIBILITY FOR HEMATOLOGY:- The candidate should possess an MD or equivalent in Medicine or Paediatrics. Candidate with M.D. or equivalent in Pathology will not be eligible.

General Conditions
Applicants should submit their application in the prescribed format as per Annexure-I along with a self-attested copy of DMC, age & experience certificate of SR if any. One passport size photograph should also be appended. The application addressed to the Medical Superintendent, VMM College & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi-110029 should be submitted in the DIARY & DISPATCH SECTION of this institution (near Gate no. 2 and adjacent to Bank of Baroda, Safdarjung Hospital Branch).
The application sends by post must be having written prominently on the top of the envelope “Application for the post of Senior Resident in the department of _________________.”
LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION IS 26th May 2020 or eligible candidates may submit their application on the prescribed form as per Annexure-I through e-mail “ao.academic @vmmcsjh.nic.in”.
Undertaking in the application form must be signed by the candidate.
The institution will not be responsible for any postal delay.
The crucial date for determination of eligibility with reference to age, educational qualification, and experience, etc. will be the last date of submission of application form in this institution.
Candidate must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council. DMC certificate for both MBBS and PG is mandatory with the application. However, the candidates, who have applied for registration with DMC and have enclosed receipt of DMC, will be allowed to appear in interview provisionally and they will be allowed to join, if selected, after production of a certificate of registration with DMC.
Other service conditions will be applicable as per service conditions prescribed from time to time by the Govt. of India.
The candidate who is already in Govt. service should submit No Objection Certificate from the employer.
Interhospital/Institution transfer shall not be permitted.
The candidate must bring the following original certificates at the time of joining/medical examination. a. Certificate in support of age (10th certificate) b. Medical registration with DMC c. Mark sheets of MBBS/ MD/ MS/ DNB/ part I, II, and final year. d. Internship Completion Certificate. e. MD/MS/DNB/Diploma Pass Certificate. f. SC/ ST/ OBC Caste certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India. g. Undergraduate and Postgraduate attempt certificate. h. Experience certificate, if any. i. Valid address proof. j. Copy of Aadhar card
No correspondence shall be entertained after the last date of closing of application.
The incomplete or unsigned application will be rejected and no communication will be entertained in this regard.
No separate call letters for interview/counseling will be issued. Candidates are requested to visit the official website (www.vmmc-sjh.nic.in ) of this institution at a regular interval for all further notifications.
A list of eligible candidates and selected candidates will be displayed on the official website and notice board of the Academic Section of this hospital.
The tentative date of joining will be 10 days from the date of issue of the result.
The candidate has to collect his/her offer of appointment from the Academic Section after display of the final result. The offer of appointment will stand canceled if acceptance to the post will not be received within the stipulated time period and the post will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.

All the columns of the application forms must be filled. If any column is found left blank, the application will be considered incomplete and incomplete application will be rejected,
Self-attested copy of all the relevant certificates/ documents in support of their candidature to the post of Senior Resident will be taken at the time of joining and there is no need to attach certificates/documents with the application except registration with Delhi Medical Council.
The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in inpatient care/ public interest in an emergency.
