Vizag Steel has announced recruitment notification for the post of Trade Apprentice, eligible candidates can submit their application before 20-02-2019.
Procedure for Applying for Apprenticeship
(a) Please download the bio-data form from VSP Web Portal and print the same. The bio-data form is to be filled and latest passport size photograph is to be pasted.
(b) The following documents are to be enclosed to the bio-data form:-
- You have to register your name in the Web Portal by logging in to www.apprenticeship.gov.in and take print out of “Apprentice Profile” and “Registration Form” are to be enclosed.
- Self attested xerox copy SSC/ Matric/ X Std. certificate.
- Self-attested xerox copy ITI (NCVT) Consolidated Statement of Marks/ Provisional National Trade Certificate.
- Self-attested xerox copy of latest caste certificate obtained from Competent Authority if you belong to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer).
- Self-attested zerox copy of the latest certificate issued by the medical board by any Govt. Hospital for Physically challenged candidates.
- Ex-Servicemen have to enclose relevant copies of certificates.
- In case of a displaced person from Visakhapatnam Steel Plant site, self-attested xerox copy of ‘R’ card and Employment Card on your name are to be enclosed.
- Self-attested xerox copy of Aadhaar Card.
- Self addressed Rs 10/- stamped envelope (22cm x 10 cm)
(c) Bio-data form with all documents as mentioned above are to be submitted in person at VSP Counter, Govt. ITI(Old), Kancharapalem, Visakhapatnam on 14th, 15th and 16th February 2019 from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM.

Selection Procedure
Based on Written Test followed by Interview.
- Shortlisted Candidates will be required to appear for the Written Test which would be conducted at Technical Training Institute (TTI), VSP in the second week of March 2019 on Objective type based on Mathematics, General Science and General Knowledge.
- Shortlisted Candidates in Written Test will be called for interview (intimation by SMS/ e-mail).
- The interview will be based on Technical knowledge Skills of the candidates in the respective trade.
- The Mobile Number and e-mail ID is given in the Bio-data form must be valid for six months.
