Forest Guard 227 A pass in Higher Secondary Course with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects
Forest Guard With Driving Licence 93 i. A pass in Higher Secondary Course (Plus Two) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects.

ii. Must possess a valid Driving license issued by the competent Transport Authority.

iii. Must possess a Certificate from a reputed firm or company to the effect that the candidate possesses experience in the driving of Light motor vehicles/ Heavy Motor Vehicles for a period of not less than three years after getting the driving license.

iv. Must possess a basic knowledge of the general mechanism of automobiles.
Selection Procedure:- Based on the Online Examination, the eligible (successful) candidates will be called for appearing in Certificate Verification, Physical Standards Verification and Endurance Test in a 1:3 ratio for final Selection.

  1. For Male Candidates: 163 Cm
  2. For Female Candidates: 150 Cm
2. Chest Required
  1. For Male Candidates: 79 Cm (84 Cm on full Inspiration)
  2. For Female Candidates: 74 Cm (79 Cm of full Inspiration)
Fee's Details (non-refundable):- The Examination Fee for the posts of Forest Guard and Forest Guard with Driving Licence in respect of SC/ ST candidates will be Rs.150/- + applicable service charges and for all other candidates an examination fee of Rs.300/- + applicable service charges, per candidate will be collected.

How To Apply
  1. Candidates should apply only through Online Mode on the Tamil Nadu Forest Department‟s Website.
  2. Before applying, the candidates should have a scanned image of their photograph, signature, and relevant certificates.
  3. Please ensure that you have your scanned recent color passport size photograph (JPG/ JPEG format of size 20-50 kb) and signature (JPG/ JPEG format of size 10-20 KB).
  4. A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number are mandatory for registration and email ID should be kept active till the declaration of results.
