Group 'C' - Level 2 of VII CPC Pay Matrix
Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualification like Graduation/ Post Graduation) OR Passed Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT for the posts in Technical Categories.
Group 'C' - Level 1 of VII CPC Pay Matrix
10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th Pass plus ITI.
Scouts & Guides Qualification: a) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder; b) Be an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 5 years. c) Should have attended two events at National Level/ All Indian Railways Level and two events at State Level.
Examination Fee
For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) with a provision for refunding Rs.400/- to those who actually appear in the trails.
For candidates belonging to SC/ ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the trails.
The examination fee should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, from any Post Office drawn in favor of Assistant Personnel Officer/ HQ, South Western Railway, Hubballi, payable at Hubballi.
How to Apply
Candidates should carefully read all the instructions given in the employment notification before filling the application form.
Application as per the prescribed format shall be submitted on A-4 size good quality paper. The Application can also be downloaded from the website of RRC, Hubballi (https://rrchubli.in) or from South Western Railway website (www.swr.indinrailways.gov.in). The application should be filled in English/ Hindi language only. The applications written in other than in English/ Hindi languages will be rejected.
The application should be filled by the candidate in his/ her own handwriting and signed.
The candidate has to affix/paste (not to be pinned) one recent passport size color photograph without cap & without colored glasses (not older than three months), duly attested by signing partially on the application and partially on the photo in the space provided for the purpose. A candidate is also required to enclose one extra passport size photograph (same as the one affixed/pasted on the application) along with the application.
