Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for the posts of JE, JE (Information Technology), DMS and CMA in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. The closing date and time of registration of applications online are 31st January 2019 at 23:59 hrs.
Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer:- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines prescribed against various posts in Annexure-A of the detailed CEN to be published on the websites of RRBs.
Depot Material Superintendent:- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering from any discipline.
Junior Engineer (Information Technology):- PGDCA/ B.Sc., (Computer Science )/ BCA/ B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC 'B' Level Course of 3 years duration or equivalent from recognised university/ institute.
Selection Procedure
There shall be a two-stage computer-based test (CBT) followed by document verification and medical examination.
Medical Standards:- Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed medical standards for the post(s) they are opting for. Refer to the medical standards for each post is available in the detailed CEN published in the websites of RRBs. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the opted post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.
Application Fee
For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below at SI. No.2 Out of this fee of Rs.500/-, an amount of Rs.400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT:- Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only)
For Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PwBDs/ Women/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economic Backward Classes. This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT:- Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)
