Sr. Scientist & Head For discipline other than Engineering Subject: Doctoral Degree in any branch of Agricultural Science/ Home Science/ Fisheries/ Animal Sciences/ Veterinary Sciences with min. 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the PB-3 of 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of 5400/ 6000/ 7000/ 8000/- having made a contribution to Research/ Teaching/ Extension Education as evidenced by published work/ innovation and Impact.

For Engineering Disciplines Doctoral in any branch of Agricultural Engineering with min. 6 years experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the PB-3 of 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/ 6000/ 7000/8000 having made a contribution to Research/ Teaching/ Extension Education as evidence by published work/ Innovation and Impact.
Subject Matter Specialist - Agricultural Engineering/ Animal Science Master’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent qualifications
Farm Manager Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualifications
Program Assistant (Computer) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application / Information Technology or equivalent
Program Assistant (Lab Technician) Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture or equivalent qualifications
Assistant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with working knowledge of Computer Applications.
Stenographer Grade III 12th Class pass or equivalent
Jeep Driver 1. Matriculation & 2. Possession of Valid and appropriate Driving License from prescribed Govt. Authority (i.e. DTO)

Selection Procedure
The process of selection may be by qualifying test/ written test/ presentation/ interview or a combination thereof.

Fee's Details (non-refundable)
  1. All positions except Sr. Scientist & Head and SMS
    Rs.500/- for General/ OBC/ EWS. Whereas, SC/ ST/ PwD/ Women candidates are exempted from fees.
  2. For the post of Sr. Scientist & Head and SMS
    Rs.1000/- for General/ OBC/ EWS. Whereas, SC/ ST/ PwD/ Women candidates are exempted from fees.
How To Apply
  1. Online applications are invited for recruitment on a direct basis for various regular KVK Positions (except for the post of Sr. Scientist & Head–for which the eligible candidates have to apply through OFFLINE MODE only in the prescribed format available on the University Website along with a requisite fee, if applicable, in the form of Demand Draft) against the mentioned categories of posts, by logging into the Recruitment Portal on the University Website (www.rpcau.ac.in). The online application can be filled from 16th March 2020 (17:00:00 Hrs. onwards) to 17th April 2020 (up to 23:59:59 Hrs.); thereafter, the website link will be disabled.
  2. Candidates applying for the post of Subject Matter Specialist(SMS) are required to send the Print-out hard copy of the online filled application form along with the self-attested copies of the documents viz Qualification certificates, Caste certificates, experience certificates, publications, awards, etc.filled in the online application form at the below-mentioned address on or before 25th April 2020 (05:00 PM) through registered or Speed post only.

  3. Only for the post of Senior Scientist & Head, the application form (available on the University Website) duly filled-in along with requisite documents and Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Comptroller, RPCAU, Pusa payable at PNB, Pusa (Branch Code PUNB0451200)” or any other nationalized bank should reach the University on the following address via registered or speed post only on or before 17th April 2020 up to 05:00 PM positively:

  4. The candidates for KVK Positions (except Senior Scientist & Head) are strictly advised to apply online well in advance without waiting for the last date of submission of the online application form. The printed copy of the online application form with necessary certificates should be kept safely for screening/ Verification later stage.
  5. Except for the post of Sr. Scientist & Head and printout copy of online filled application form along-with self-attested requisite documents for the post of SMS, NO Offline application form will be accepted by the University, in any case.
  6. A separate application (along with application fee) should be filled for each post applied for.
