Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of M/s Oil India Limited (OIL), is a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. It has a 3.0 MMTPA Refinery at Numaligarh in the district of Golaghat, Assam, and Marketing Terminals at Numaligarh, Assam, and Siliguri, West Bengal. Numaligarh Refinery was conceived in the historic ‘Assam Accord’ of 1985

Job Location
The selected candidates may be posted in any location, department, function, or branch of the Company or Holding Company, subsidiary, associate or affiliate Company or any Joint Venture Company or deputed to any Department of Govt. of India/ other PSUs, etc.
Selection Process
a) The selection process shall consist of Computer-Based Tests and Personal Interviews or/and Group Tasks of the shortlisted candidates.
b) All the candidates claiming to fulfill all the eligibility criteria will be called for Computer Based Test without verifying their eligibility.
c) Computer Based Test will be of objective type questions with no negative marking and will comprise of 4 sections:
- Section A: Technical/ Professional Knowledge comprising of questions related to Qualifying degree required for the applied position.
- Section B: General Knowledge/ Current Affairs
- Section C: English language
- Section D: Reasoning & Numerical Ability 80% of questions will be from Section A.
d) Candidates qualifying in the Computer Based Test in order of merit will be called for Group Task or/and Personal Interview.
e) Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in both the stages i.e. Computer Based Test and Group Task (GT) & Personal Interview (PI) to be considered for the further selection process. Minimum qualifying marks in each stage i.e CBT and (PI+GT) is 50%.
f) The offer of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable qualifying candidates in order of merit and based on the number of vacancies. Scoring model
- Computer Based Test (85% Weightage)
- Group Task (5% Weightage)
- Personal Interview (10% Weightage)
- Final Score - Combined scores of Computer Based Test + Group Task + Personal Interview.
Application Fee
- SC, ST & PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs.500/- (per post). A fee collected will be refunded back to candidates if they appear for the CBT.
- Payment Mode: Debit/ Credit Card/ Wallet/ UPI/ Net Banking: On paying the application fee online, the payment status will automatically change to “Your Transaction is successfully completed”, on successful receipt of fees.
