NIT Hamirpur has announced recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Engineer, eligible candidates can submit their application before 21-05-2021.

Applications of eligible and willing persons, who can be spared immediately by their respective department(s) are invited through the proper channel in the prescribed format. Duly filled in application must reach to the office of undersigned at the mentioned-below address on or before 21st May 2021 upto 05:30 P.M.
The Registrar,National Institue of Technology, Hamirpur (H.P.) - 177005.It may also be noted that in the event of selection, the candidate will submit copies of his/her ACRs/ APARs for the last five years (in case of AE) and the last two years (in case of JE) duly attested by the Head of respective Department/ Institution along with vigilance clearance certificate.
Eligibility Criteria
The appointment on deputation will be initially for a period of one year or till the regular appointments are made whichever is earlier. However, Competent Authority can extend the period of deputation based upon performance and prevailing situation/ requirement of the institute. The eligibility criteria along with other details of the post(s) are given below;
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical) (Group-B)a) Officers under the Central/ State Governments/ Universities recognized Research institutes or institutes of National Important or Govt. laboratory or PSU (Junior Engineer)
- First Cass B.E/ B.Tech in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institue
OR
- First Class Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record.
b) Experience
- Holding analogous post; or
- 5 years regular service with Grade Pay of Rs 4200/- as Junior Engineer.
2. Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) (Group-B)
- First Cass B.E/ B.Tech in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institue
OR
- First Class Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record.
The period of deputation shall be for a period of one year or till the appointment of regular Assistant Engineer(s)/ Junior Engineer(s), whichever is earlier.
