NIN has announced recruitment notification for the post of Project Assistant, eligible candidates can submit their application before 13-02-2020.
NIN Recruitment 2020 - Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post for the project entitled "
A/dose Reductase (AR) Mediated Aberrant Molecular Changes in Coincident Diabetes and Cancer: Effect of Dietary AR Inhibitors". The project is funded by SERB and ICMR-NIN is executing agency.
Eligibility Criteria1. Essential Qualification
- Masters Degree in Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Nutrition
2. Desirable
- Research experience in the relevant area (Diabetes, Diabetic Complications, Cancer, Functional Foods, Cell-culture/ Molecular Biology, and Animal experimentation.
3. Nature Of Duty
- Collection of Clinical samples from hospitals.
- Biochemical, Cellular, Molecular and Nutritional Analysis in the lab.
- Animal Studies.
Selection ProcedureThe interview will be conducted to the eligible candidates after verification of the original certificates. However, if a number of candidates are found eligible for the post advertised, the Written Test/ Skill Test will also be conducted on the same day for the final round of Interviews.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PH Certificates along with one set of photocopies of the same duly attested (can be self-attested) along with a passport size photograph for attending the Written Test/ Interview.
