MSCWB Recruitment 2020 - Educational Qualification For Conservancy Mazdoor Posts
Essential:- Read and write ability is required in Bengali, English, and vernacular (Hindi, Urdu, Oriya & Nepali languages).
Duties attached to the post:
- Collection of Solid Waste from Door to Door:- Mazdoor generally blows the whistle indicating their arrival at their place of work. Wastes are being collected by them from different households under various Wards (1 to 144) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
- Street Sweeping:- Street Sweepings is being done by the Mazdoors regularly to clean the lanes, roads, streets, etc. of various Wards of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
- Transportation of Waste to Vats/ Compactor Stations:- Solid wastes are being transported by the Mazdoors to Vats/ Compactor Stations by:-
A. Hand Carts,
B. Tri-Cycle Paddle Vans,
C. Battery Operated Hydraulic Dumpers,
D. Auto Tipper Trucks
- Dumping Garbage:- Mazdoors are also engaged to help the dumping of garbage at the Dhapa dumpsite.
MSCWB Recruitment 2020 - Age Limit For Conservancy Mazdoor Posts
Lower and Upper age limit is 18 years and 40 years respectively as on 1st January 2020. Upper Age Relaxation up to 5-years is Admissible Only to SC/ ST. Candidates and up to 3-years to OBC (A&B) Candidates of West Bengal. The upper age limit for recruitment of Physically Challenged persons to State Government Services and Posts shall be 45 years.
MSCWB Recruitment 2020 - Application Fee (non-refundable) For Conservancy Mazdoor Posts
- Application fee for UR & OBC (A&B) candidates is Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) + Processing Charges Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) plus Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty only) towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit.
- For SC, ST, PH candidates only Processing Charges Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) + Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty only) towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit.
- The Application Fees + Processing charges shall be collected by all the branches of the United Bank of India (UBI) and the same to be deposited to Account No. 0088010367936 through Challan generated after submission of Online Application.
