Ministry of Defence has announced recruitment notification for the post of Junior Hindi Translator, eligible candidates can submit their application before 15-01-2022.
Age Limit:
- Junior Hindi Translator: The age of the candidate is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 30 years.
- Sub-Divisional Officer Grade-III: The age of the candidate is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 27 years.
Educational Qualification:
- Junior Hindi Translator: The candidate must complete the Bachelor/ Master Degree from a recognized university.
- Sub Divisional Officer Grade-III: The candidate must complete the 10th standard from a recognized university.
- Hindi Typist: The candidate must complete the 10th standard from a recognized university and 25 words per minute in typewriting in Hindi.
Application Fee:
- The application fee for all the candidates is 200/-
- The candidate belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and women candidate sections are exempted from the payment of fee.
- The applications received without fee will not be considered and rejected.
- The payment can be done by using debit card, credit card, and net banking.
Salary:
- Junior Hindi Translator: RS. 9300/- to 34800/- with Grade Pay 4200/-
- Sub Divisional Officer: RS. 5200/- to 20200/- with Grade Pay 2400/-
- Hindi Typist: RS. 5200/- to 20200/- with Grade Pay RS. 1900/-

Selection Process:
The selection is based on the performance of the candidate in the written test and followed by the skill test.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
- Junior Hindi Translator: The exam contains 200 marks and contains two types of tests.
- Objective Type Test: The exam contains multiple-choice questions for 120 marks and the subjects like General English, General Knowledge, Hindi Grammar, Translation related questions.

Descriptive Type Test: The Exam contains 80 marks and the topic is translation of passage. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Sub Divisional Officer: The exam contains 150 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Technical Knowledge: 100 marks
General Knowledge: 25 marks
General English: 25 marks
Hindi Typist: The exam contains 100 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. The topics include
Hindi Language, General Awareness, Hindi Grammar, and Mental Ability.
