Physical Measurements for Male/ Female candidates
1. For all States and Union Territories (except categories mentioned below).
a) Height required
- For Male Candidates: 170 Cm
- For Female Candidates: 157 Cm
b) Chest required
- 80 Cm (Un Expanded)
- 85 Cm (Expanded)
2. For candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K.
a) Height required
- For Male Candidates: 165 Cm
- For Female Candidates: 155 Cm
b) Chest required
- 77 Cm (Un Expanded)
- 82 Cm (Expanded)
3. For candidates belonging to Schedule Tribes.
a) Height required
- For Male Candidates: 162.5 Cm
- For Female Candidates: 154 Cm
b) Chest required
- 77 Cm (Un Expanded)
- 82 Cm (Expanded)
Application Fee
- Rs.200/- (Two hundred only) - for Gen/ OBC category,
- Fees are exempted for females, Ex-servicemen, and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category,
- The payment can be made by using only Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

- Applications from candidates will be accepted through ONLINE MODE (No offline application will be accepted) on www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in only.
- For detailed information eligibility conditions, a procedure of filling an online application form, recruitment procedure and tests etc. the applicants are advised to go through the advertisement appearing on the ITBP recruitment website i.e. www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
- Any further information/ notification in respect to this recruitment will be made on the ITBP recruitment website only. Hence, applicants are advised to log in to the ITBP recruitment website from time to time and also advised to go through eligibility criteria carefully before applying to avoid disappointment at a later stage.
- Opening Date for Online Application:- 07/11/2018 at 00:01 A.M.
- Closing Date/ Last date of Receipt of Online Application:- 06/12/2018 till 11:59 P.M.
Selection Process
The candidates whose applications are found in order will be issued online admit Cards mentioning the date and venue of recruitment test. Candidature of candidates who are issued online admits cards will remain provisional till they are finally selected and submit all related documents/ certificates in original and in prescribed format at the stage of verification of original documents. The candidates who arrive at the venue without valid admit cards will not be permitted to appear in the recruitment process.
