Scientist-D	MD/ MS/ DNB or equivalent degree recognized by MCL/ NMC in the relevant specialization as mentioned below with five years R&D/ teaching/ working experience in a Govt./ Public Sector/ Private Institutions. OR MBBS degree recognized by MCI/ NMC with Ph.D. in the relevant specialization as mentioned below and four years R&D/ teaching/ working experience in a Govt/ Public Sector/ Private Institutions
Scientist-D (ICMR Hqrs. New Delhi)	First Class Post Graduate degree with Ph.D. from a recognized University in any of the preferable subjects mentioned below with four years R&D/ teaching/ working experience in a Govt./ Public Sector/ Private Institutions:- 1. Application Fee

Rs.1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) is required. SC/ ST / Women/ PWD/ EWS candidates are exempted from application fee. Application Fee is to be paid by candidates through the online link given in the application form. Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply

1. Candidates should apply online at https://recruit.icmr.org.in. A separate application has to be submitted for each p.ost, with the required application fee.
2. Following self-attested documents are required to be uploaded along with the application:-

Educational qualifications
Experience

Note:

Ph.D. will be considered as four years of experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree).
MD/ MS/ DNB will be considered as three years of experience.
The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as per the guidelines of the Department of Personnel and Training, GOI issued from time to time. However, the prescribed age may be relaxed in exceptional cases for experienced and qualified candidates by the DG, ICMR.
In case applicants are from Private Sector or Laboratories I Institutions abroad, the Screening Committee shall decide the equivalency of PayScale.
Regular two years Masters of Public Health (MPH) with one year experience or MRCP or subjects approved by MCI I NMC will be considered equivalent to MD I DNB for positions relevant to Public health, Medicine.

Selection Procedure

In the first instance, all the candidates who fulfill minimum eligibility with respect to age, educational qualifications, and experience (wherever required) shall be short-listed. If the number of such shortlisted candidates are high and it is not possible to call all of them for an interview, then the ICMR shall further shortlist the candidates, on the basis of higher experience in the relevant fields or candidates with higher educational qualification, as the case may be and as decided by the appointing authority i.e. DG, ICMR.
