HPPSC has announced recruitment notification for the post of State Services, eligible candidates can submit their application before 06-02-2019.
Vacancy Details
- Four vacancies of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service, Class-I (Gazetted), in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.5400 (Grade Pay). Out of these, one vacancy is reserved for the category of Scheduled Caste (S.C WFF) of H.P., one vacancy is reserved for Other Backward Class (OBC Ex-Serviceman) of H.P., and the remaining two vacancies are unreserved.
- One vacancy (Ex-Serviceman, UR) of Tehsildar Class–I (Gazetted), in the pay scale of Rs.10300-34800+ Rs.5000 (Grade Pay).
- Eight vacancies of Block Development Officers, Class–I (Gazetted), in the pay scale of Rs. 10300-34800 +Rs. 5000 (Grade Pay). Out of these, one vacancy is reserved for the category of Scheduled Caste (S.C) of H.P., one vacancy is reserved for the category of Scheduled Tribe (S.T.) of H.P., one vacancy is reserved for the category of Physically Handicapped (Hearing Impaired) and the remaining Five vacancies are unreserved.
- One vacancy (UR) of Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies ClassII (Gazetted) in the pay scale of Rs. 10,300-34,800+ Rs. 5000 Grade Pay.
Selection Process
Himachal Pradesh Administrative Combined Competitive Examination will consist of three successive stages to complete the selection process.
Stage-I:- Preliminary Examination
Stage-II:- Main Written Examination
Stage-III:- Viva-Voice:-
- On the basis of performance in the main examination, the result of qualified candidates will be uploaded on HPPSC website.
- The candidate who qualifies the main examination will be called for viva-voce individually by the office.
- Final selection will be determined on the basis of written performance in the main examination and viva-voce.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment
Candidates are required to pay requisite Examination Fee by using
Debit Card/ Credit card or
Net Banking through “
e-Payment Gateway” Fee once paid shall not be refunded.

The detail of fee for respective categories is as under:-
- Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only):- General Category {including General Physically Disabled, i.e. Orthopedically disabled, Deaf & Dumb, Hearing impaired/ W.F.F. of HP/ Ex-Servicemen of HP relieved from Defence Services on their own request before completion of normal tenure, General wards of Ex-SM of H.P., i.e. Dependent sons, daughters, and wives of Ex-SM of H.P. and candidates of other states (including reserved category candidates of other states)}
- Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only):- S.C. of H.P./S.T. of H.P./O.B.C. of H.P. (including S.C./ S.T./ O.B.C. Ex-Servicemen of H.P. relieved from Defence Services on their own requests before completion of normal tenure and SC/ ST/ OBC wards of Ex-SM of H.P., i.e. Dependent sons, daughters and wives of Ex-SM).
- No Fee For Ex-Servicemen of H.P. (Ex-Servicemen, who are relieved from Defence Services after completion of normal tenure)/ Visually Impaired of H.P.
