Submission of Application
The applications are accepted only in online mode. The desirous candidate(s) may use the link on our website i.e. http://hpprisons.nic.in at the Tabs Vacancy/ Recruitment on or before its last date i.e. 20/01/2019 till 11.59 P.M.
The web link will be activated from 20th December 2018 onwards. The candidates will be required to create their user IDs and passwords in the profile of online recruitment software module.
A processing fee of Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty) only shall be charged from each candidate belonging to General category and Rs.40/- (Rupees forty) only from each candidate belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC and IRDP.
The candidate can deposit the requisite fee through online payment gateway using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking with extra transaction charges.
Selection Procedure
The candidates, who qualify Physical Efficiency Test shall be called to appear for Written Exammat1on, which will be held at the place fixed by the Recruitment Board/ Committee, preferably on the same day for all districts.
The written examination will be of objective type questions, will include the following five subgroups carrying equal marks:- i) English Language, ii) Hindi Language, iii) General Awareness, v) Maths & Science, v) Reasoning Aptitude. The syllabus for written examination shall be of 10+2 standard except for Mathematics for which syllabus shall be of Matriculation standard.
Only such candidates shall be deemed to have qualified, who secure minimum 50% marks in the written test in case of those belonging to General/ OBC categories and minimum 40% marks in the case of those belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories.
