HP Patwari Recruitment 2019 - Department Of Revenue, Himachal Pradesh has released Job Notification for filling up the 1195 Posts of Patwari (i.e. 933-candidates in Mohal side and 262-candidates in Settlement side) and 17 eligible chainmen of Settlement Department Kangra & Shimla. (i.e. 9-regular chainmen of Kangra Division and 8-regular chainmen of Shimla Division).

Note:- 22-trained Patwari candidates are already available in office establishment of District L&S to fill up the existing 4-vacant posts of Patwaris as well as 5-vacant posts of Patwaris likely to occur till the year, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification
i) Candidates should have passed 12th or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/ University.
ii) The candidates appearing in Sports category should be National level medal winner or who have participated three-time in National Level Tournament.
iii) Candidates belonging to reserved category shall have to submit proof that he/she belongs to reserved category (to be attached with application form).
- Desirable Qualification
i) Knowledge of Customs, Manners, and Dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Selection ProcedureThose Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for Written Test and after-that Candidates qualifying in the Written Test will have to undergo Patwari training of 18 months in Revenue Training Institue, Jogindernagar and will be granted stipend Rs.3000/- per month (except who are selected from among eligible regular chainmen) for entire training.
How To ApplyThe candidates fulfilling the above conditions may submit his/her application on the prescribed Performa to the concerned Deputy Commissioners along with the following documents:-
- Demand Draft/ IPO of Rs.300/- for General candidates and Rs.150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates in favor of concerned Deputy Commissioner.
- One self-addressed envelope duly stamped.
