Experience required: Minimum ten years of experience as a Professor(in the University System) with an outstanding contribution to research in the field of Interfaith Studies/ Religious Studies. |

| Faculty | As the Centre for Interfaith Studies is being run in project mode as such there is no regular recruitment of the faculty in the Centre. The faculty will be appointed for a tenure of three years with the provision of re-appointment after following proper procedure as afresh appointment after completion of 3 years tenure: Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: The applicant must be an approved faculty in any of the posts as per “UGC REGULATIONS ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES AND MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION-2010” or subsequent regulations adopted by the Govt. of Punjab from time to time. A certificate from the parent institute/university is to be attached along with the project regarding the approval on the post held by the applicant, last pay drawn, and whether the parent institute/ university will pay the salary during the tenure of the project. |
| Post Doctoral Fellows | (i) The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject preferably with published research work to their credit. (ii) Only Ph.D. awarded unemployed candidates will be eligible for the award of Postdoctoral Fellowships. (iii) The upper age limit for applicants is 35 years, relaxation of 5 years in age for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women candidates applicable as per Government of India Norms |
