Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission invites applications for eligible candidates for filling up of Deputy Director, Assistant Director and Accountant vacancies. Detailed of post-wise norms for recruitment such as education qualification, experience, age limit is given below.

Qualification:
(a) CA / ICWA / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or 2 years MBA in Finance from a recognized Institution.
(b) Minimum 10 years professional experience of which at least 6 years in Regulatory affairs.
(c) Strong computer literacy and skills.
(d) Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:
(a) Experience in large public utilities with generation, transmission and distribution facilities.
(b) Experience in matters relating to electricity Tariffs, Commercial issues, and power purchase agreements.
(c) Good knowledge of Indian Electricity Laws

Pay Scale: Rs. 30000-110000/-, GP: 14500/-

Qualification:
(a) Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution.
(b) Minimum 10 years professional experience of which at least 6 years in Power Sector.
(c) Strong computer literacy and skills.
(d) Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience:
(a) Experience of Economic Analysis, modeling, and Statistical techniques.
(b) Experience in Commercial issues and power purchase agreements.
(c) Experience in the development of tariffs in public utilities.
(d) Demonstrated capability in analytical modeling.
(e) Experience in Power Sector Regulatory affairs preferable.

Qualification:
(a) BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science or IT or Master in Computer Application.
(b) Experience in website designing.
(c) 5 years experience in Electronics Data Processing out of which 2 years experience should be in actual programming.
(d) Skills relating to website administration.
(e) Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience:
(a) Adequate experience of handling computer systems in Govt. Department / PSU OR large private organization including managerial responsibilities.
(b) Management of Computer, IT and MIS facilities.
(c) Experience in Power Sector is preferable.

Pay Scale: Rs. 30000-110000/-, GP: 13300/-

Qualification:
(a) Bachelor degree in Commerce or Intermediate Chartered Accountant or Intermediate Cost and Works Accountant.
(b) Minimum 7 years of work experience in accounting.
(c) Exposure to computer operations.

Experience:
(a) Good written and verbal communication skills.
(b) Working experience in a Government organization or in Public Sector Enterprise
(c) Knowledge and experience of IT software in the maintenance of accounts is preferable.

Pay Scale: Rs. 22000-87000/-, GP: 9100/-

Selection Process:
a) Selection will be made on the basis of their performance in Interview. Shortlisted candidates based on their educational qualification, experience etc. will be called for personal interview.

b) All candidates appointed, will be on contract initially for 5 years and to be renewed for 2 years at a time based on Annual Performance Reports
