CPCB has announced recruitment notification for the post of Advocate, eligible candidates can submit their application before 11-06-2020.
The Central Pollution Control Board, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change intends to engage practicing Advocate on the panel of the Central Pollution Control Board to represent the CPCB before the High Courts, National Green Tribunal, and other courts and Central Administrative Tribunal, Ahmedabad & other Benches.
The practicing advocates registered with Bar Council of India/ State Bar Council are eligible for empanelment. The experience and other terms & conditions for empanelment are as below. However, the eligibility of existing advocates on panel will be reviewed accordingly.
Experience Required
- High Courts Gujarat/ Maharashtra & National Green Tribunal (Western Bench)
- Minimum 06 years practicing experience exclusively dealing with the cases in High Courts and National Green Tribunal independently.
- Preference will be given to those advocates conducting cases on Environmental Laws in the High Court's & National Green Tribunal (Advocate with science background is preferred)
- District Courts and Central Administrative Tribunal in Western Zone
- Minimum 04 years practicing experience exclusive dealing with the cases in District Courts and Central Administrative Tribunal independently.

- The tenure of empanelment and professional fee will be as per the terms and conditions issued from time to time by CPCB (www.cpcb.nic.in). In case of any clarifications, you may contact the Regional Director. In event of any dispute the decision of the Chairman. CPCB shall be binding on both parties.
