- Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. (50% marks is not required for SC/ST, ExServicemen candidates and the candidates of any category who are possessing higher qualification)
- Professional Qualification: Possession of Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in specified cultural discipline from Government recognized institution for which notification is issued.

- All candidates should submit with the application an Indian Postal Order (IPO):-
- Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) is drawn in favor of Principal Financial Advisor, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST communities, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis)}, PWD, and those belonging to economically backward classes (whose family income is less than Rs.50,000/- per annum) should submit with the application an Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs.250/- (Two Hundred Fifty Only).
