CISF has announced recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Commandant (Fire), eligible candidates can submit their application before 25-10-2020.
Eligibility Criteria For CISF Recruitment 2020
Officers of the Central Government or State Government or UTs or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous organizations or Municipal and officers of the Government recognized University or Research Centers:
a)
- holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay Band-2 Rs. 9,300-34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,800/- (Revised Pay Level-8 (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100) as per 7th CPC} or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; or
- with three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9,300-34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/- {Revised Pay Level-7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) as per 7th CPC} or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and
b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience:-
EssentialA)
- Bachelor's degree in science from a recognized University.
- Advanced Diploma from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur or successful completion of the Division Officers Course conducted by the Central Industrial Security Force Fire Service Training Institute; or Graduates ship of Institution of Fire Engineers (India/ United Kingdom);
- Three years experience in Fire Service Department under the Central Government or the State Government or Public Sector Undertakings or Union territories or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organization or Municipal Corporation or Local Bodies; or
B)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or B.Tech degree in Fire or Fire and Safety from a recognized University.
- Three years' experience in the Fire Service Department under the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertakings or Union Territories or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organization or Municipal Corporation or Local Bodies;
Note 1:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2:- The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes or scheduled tribes if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that the sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
The Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputations shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
(Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications).

25th October 2020 along-with up-to-date copies of APARs (for last five years), a certificate in the proforma enclosed as per Annexure-III and list of penalties (Major/ Minor) imposed, if any during the last ten years.
