Officers of Central Government
- holding analogous post on regular basis;
- With five years regular service in the post in the grade of Level-6 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400) or equivalent; and
Educational Qualifications
- A degree of a recognized university or equivalent;
- A degree in Library Science from a Recognised University or equivalent.

2. Chest Required Only For Male Candidate
