BEL Recruitment 2019 - Bharat Electronics Limited (BSF), Bangalore has released Job notification for dynamic, self-motivated and energetic young qualified candidates for the 15 Posts of Engineer On Fixed Term Basis for a period of 5-years for its Chennai Unit, Tamilnadu.

Fixed Term Engineer – Electronics 06 Candidates should have completed full time B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Communication/ Telecommunication General/ OBC candidates should have secured FIRST CLASS and Pass Marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification experience of Electronics assembly operations and Testing of PCBs, design of electronic systems in Industrial/ Defence Electronics manufacturing/design/ industries excluding Graduate Apprenticeship/ Training period.
Fixed Term Engineer – Mechanical 07 Candidates should have completed full-time B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical. General/ OBC candidates should have secured FIRST CLASS and Pass Marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Experience: Two years post qualification experience of Production/ Design/ Purchase in industrial/ Defence electronic manufacturing industries excluding Graduate Apprenticeship/ Training period.
Fixed Term Engineer – Computer Science 02 Candidates should have completed full-time B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering. General/ OBC candidates should have secured FIRST CLASS and Pass Marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Experience: Two years post qualification experience in a relevant field, excluding Graduate Apprenticeship/ Training period.
Age Relaxation
  1. SC/ST - 5 years, OBC - 3 years, PWD - 10 years relaxation.
  2. Total 15 posts and the reservation is General-5, OBC-4, EWS-3, SC-2, and ST-1.
Period Of Contract
5-years from the date of joining. However, the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project, performance of the candidate and at the discretion of BEL.

Selection Procedure
  • Selection will be through written test and interview.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their performance in the written test.
  • The written test will consist of objective type questions from engineering subjects.
