Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd invites Online Application for itself and its subsidiary companies namely North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (BSPTCL) & Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) from eligible candidates for appointment on the post of ASSISTANT for its Head Offices as per the details given below

Age Limit:For Gen/ UR Candidates: 21 to 37 years (As on 01/01/2018)
Maximum Age with relaxation: 42 years for SC/ST candidates 40 years for EBC/BC/Female (UR) candidates
Remuneration: Consolidated Pay during one year probation period: Pay Band - Rs. 15,500-29,300 Consolidated monthly pay Rs. 15,500/- (Rs. Fifteen thousand five Hundred)
After completion of one year of probation period: Level 5 (Regular Pay Scale-as per 7th PRC) ₹35400 + other allowances
Mode of Selection:1. The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in CBT (Computer Based Test). A combined merit list will be prepared and shortlisted candidates will be called for documents/ certificate verification as per advertised post and norms decided for a different category.
2. If nos. of the applicant will be very large (i.e. more than 15000) preliminary test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the main examination. The main examination will be conducted for recruitment.
3. If the preliminary test is conducted, the candidate in the ratio of 1:20 of the advertised vacancy will be shortlisted for the main examination. The merit list of the candidate for selection to the post of Assistant will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in CBT main exams.
4. Both PT and Mains Examination will be of objective type (Multiple choices) computer-based test.
5. Short-listing of candidates will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT).
