Arunachal Pradesh PSC has announced recruitment notification for the post of Sub Inspector, eligible candidates can submit their application before 15-03-2021.
Selection Procedure - APPSC Recruitment 2021
The eligible candidates will have to undergo Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test before appearing in the written examination. And, If the no. of candidates who qualify for the written examination is huge, then the Commission will adopt the Recruitment Test (Objective Type) on the General Knowledge paper before the conduct of the written examination.
The written examination comprised of the following subjects followed by a Medical Test at TRIHMS, Naharlagun (A.Pl and Viva-voce to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at Itanagar on the basis of which selection will be finalized.
- General English: 100 marks
- General Knowledge: 100 marks
- Elementary mathematics (Class-X standard) : 100 marks
- Viva-voce: 40 marks.
Candidates who secure a minimum of 33% or more marks In each written examination paper and have secured 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks. In the written examination papers shall be eligible for Viva-voice. On the other hand, It will further mean that selection for Viva-voice shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured In the written examination papers and subject to a ratio of 1:3. The candidates securing less than 33% of marks. In any of the written examination papers shall not be eligible for appearing In the Viva-voice.
Physical Measurements - APPSC Recruitment 2021
Candidate must possess the following minimum height and chest girth

- For Male Candidates: 165 Cm
- For Female Candidates: 157 Cm
2. Chest Required Only For Male Candidate
- 79 Cm (Un Expanded)
- 84 Cm (Expanded)
3. Both Eye Vision:- Distance vision-better eye (corrected vision) - 6/12, Near Vision - J1 (corrected), J2 (corrected).
Physical Efficiency Test - APPSC Recruitment 2021
- 100m race - 16 seconds (Male) & 19 seconds (Female)
- 1500m race - 8 minutes (Male),
- 800m - 5 minutes (Female)
- High Jump - 107 cms (Male), 90 cms (Female) for 3 attempts.
- Long Jump - 11 feel {male), 9 feet (female) In 3 attempts.
Medical Fitness Test - APPSC Recruitment 2021
Those candidates who are declared to have qualified In Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test will have to appear In a written examination followed by Medical Test and Viva-voce/ Interview.
How To Apply - APPSC Recruitment 2021
The candidates who have been declared qualified in the written examination will have to submit Xerox copies of the following documents/ information to the Commission before one week from the actual date of the Interview/ Viva-voice.
- Recent passport size photographs.
- Self-attested Xeroxed copies of Degree certificates and mark-sheet Issued by the Assistant Registrar/ Registrar/ Controller of Examination/ Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain degree.
- A self-attested Xeroxed copy of the Matriculation certificate for proof of age issued by the Board only will be accepted.
- Self-attested Xeroxed copy of the APST certificate for APST candidates and PRC/ Adhaar Card/ EPIC for other candidates.
- All the supporting documents submitted by the candidates must be self-attested otherwise the application will be rejected.
- Qualified candidates will have to produce the above-mentioned certificates and mark sheet/ documents in original at the time of the Interview/ Viva-voice, failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear In the Interview.
