Essential Qualification and Experience

Professor
Medical candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. AND/OR M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
ii) Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Non-medical candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master degree in the concerned discipline. ii) A doctorate degree of a recognized university. iii) Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Additional Professor
Medical candidates (for the General discipline):- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. AND/OR M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. ii) Ten years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Super-specialty discipline:- i) D.M. in the respective discipline/ subject for medical super specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. ii) Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Seven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Non-medical candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master degree in the concerned discipline. ii) A doctorate degree of a recognized university. iii) Ten years of teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Associate Professor
Medical candidates (for the General discipline):- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. AND/OR M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. ii) Six years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Super-specialty discipline:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. ii) D.M. in the respective discipline/ subject for medical super-specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/ subject for surgical super-specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. iii) Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M. /M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Non-medical candidates:- i) A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master degree in the concerned discipline. ii) A doctorate degree of a recognized university. iii) Six years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Application Fee
The application fee for General/ OBC category Rs. 2,000/-
For SC/ST category Rs. 500/-
Fees shall be paid online at the time of submission of application form. The application fee is required to be remitted online only. Any other mode of payment is not acceptable.
Please make sure that the Transaction number; the amount is captured in your application form after submitting online fees.
Please make sure to get the confirmation of the successful payment by your bank and retain the proof of the same which may be required at the time of interview.
Fee once remitted will not be refunded.
For PwD category application fee is exempted.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals and OCI in the prescribed form only through ONLINE mode. The online registration of application is made available on AIIMS Bhopal official website i.e. www.aiimsbhopal.edu.in
The on-line filling up of application form will start on 21.01.2019 (Monday) and close on 06.03.2019(Wednesday).
Candidates must fill in the online application form as per the procedure is given in this Notice and take a printout of the same.
Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately online for each post and pay the application fee for each post.
