DET (Mechanical) 3 Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/ Institution/ State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST /PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.

However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
GET (Information Technology) 6 Full-time Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or full-time Degree in any discipline from recognized University/Institution, with 2 (two) years PG Diploma in Computer Science or full-time Masters Degree in Computer Application from recognized University/Institution, with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST /PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%
MT (HRD) 7 Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma of Two years( Full time) duration in perPersonnelnagement/ Industrial Relations & welfare/ HRD/ HRM/ PM & IR/ MBA with specialization in HRD or Personnel Management from a recognized institute of repute with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST /PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
MT (Finance) 11 Degree in any discipline with CA/CMA.
MT (Legal) 1 Full-time Degree in Bachelor of Law from recognized University/Institution, with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate marks for all candidates.
MT (PR) 1 Full-time Degree with two years PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass communication from recognized University/Institution, with a minimum of 60 % in aggregate marks for all candidates. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%
MT (Secretarial) 1 Graduate with an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS)/ Fellow member of the ICSI (FCS) & desirable additional qualification such as a Degree in Law/ CA/ ICWA.
MT (Environment) 1 Degree in Environment Engg./ Management/ BSC in Environmental Science/ Degree in Civil engineering with Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Science or BSC with PG Diploma (02 years) in Environmental science, with a minimum of 60% in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
Application Fee
UR, SEBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) of Odisha only, PWD candidates are exempted from application fee. Candidates shall be required to make the payment of fees while filling up online application either in online mode or in offline mode.

Selection Procedure
  1. Eligible candidates will be called for Computer Based Test Comprising 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divided into two parts i.e.
    - Part-I: 40 questions from General Aptitude- Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, General Awareness etc.
    - Part-II: 80 questions from subject knowledge in the respective discipline.
    - The candidates shall secure 01 marks for each correct answer & there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
    - The duration of the CBT will be 02 hours.
  2. Candidates qualifying in the written test (CBT) shall be called for the Personal Interview at Bhubaneswar.
  3. The merit list will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the CBT and Personal Interview.
  4. The offer of appointment shall be issued to the selected candidates on the basis of merit. However, the final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness as per the prescribed standard.
  5. On selection, they shall be posted at any of the Units/ Project sites & Offices of OHPC & its subsidiaries.
