How to Apply Online

The candidate should apply only Online for the above said posts till 30.11 .2018 up to 01: 00 P.M.
The application is to be filled up Online on website www.gmch.gov.in by clicking on 'VACANCIES'.
Before filling up On-line application, the candidate must have his/her photograph scanned in the jpg format, which should not exceed 15 KB in size and it has to be uploaded at the time of filling up of Online Application Form.
On successful submission of a form on the website www.gmch.gov.in, candidates are advised to retain one copy of the print-out of the Form, which will have Registration Number/Application ID printed on it, for further inquiry.
Online registration shall commence after 17.11 .2018 from the date of Publication of this Advertisement and shall close on 30.11 .2018 at 01: 00 P.M.

Application Fee

1. Application fee can be paid online only. It cannot be paid in the form of a cheque, demand draft, cash or any other physical mean.
2. The amount of fee to be paid is as under:-

SC candidates for SC posts. Rs. 250/- + Bank Charges, if any.
For all other categories Rs. 500/- + Bank Charges, if any.

3. Physically Handicapped and the candidates, whose name are sponsored by the Regional Employment Exchange (REE), UT, Chandigarh are exempted from Application fee.

The schedule of the last date of receipt of online application. hard copies, Written Test, Result and Interview is as under:-

Last date of submission of Hard Copy:- 03.12.2018 up to 12:00 Noon in the office of Director Principal, (Diary & Hardcopy. Dispatch Section. Room No. 228-A, Block-D). GMCH-32, Chandigarh.
Written Test:- 10.12.2018 at 10.30 AM to 11 .30 A.M.
Venue:- Auditorium, College Building, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
Result:- 11.12.2018 (will be displayed on the GMCH website (after 06.00 pm)
Interview:- 17.12.2018 at 10:00 AM in the office of Director Principal, GMCH-32, Chandigarh. (for the posts of Senior Residents, Resident Pathologist, Resident Anaesthetist, CMO (Gen. Medical and Gen. Surgery), and 18.12.2018 for the posts of Demonstrators (PG/ Non-PG, EMO & MO/LMO) & Junior Residents.

Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience

Senior Resident	Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S/ D.M./ M.Ch/ DNB) OR equivalent in the concerned specialty.
Casualty Medical officer (General Medicine & General Surgery)
Resident Anaesthetist
Medical Officer/ Lady Medical Officer	MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for non-medical persons from Medical Institute/ Faculty for Demonstrators.
Demonstrator and Emergency Medical Officer in the Deptt. of Forensic Medicine	MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)
Junior Residents	i) MBBS/ BDS ii) Registered with State Medical Council/ MCI iii) The candidates who have already completed/ likely to be completed their one-year rotator internship on 31 .12.2018 are eligible to apply.
