(i) Postgraduate degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) with five year R&D/ teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with six years R&D/ teaching experience in the required subject.
OR
MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree with 8 years R&D/ Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS Degree.
(ii) Out of above 2 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity.

(i) Postgraduate degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) with seven-year R&D/ teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with eight years R&D/ teaching experience in the required subject.
(ii) Out of above 3 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity |
| Scientist ‘F’ - 01 Post |
(i) Postgraduate degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) with nine years R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with eight years R&D/ teaching experience in the required subject.
(ii) Out of above 3 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity. |

- Examination fee of Rs. 500/- by means of Demand Draft in favor of Director General, ICMR, New Delhi, wherever applicable.
- Copy of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate/Mark-sheet, issued by Central/State Board, indicating Date of Birth in support of a claim of age. Date of Birth Certificate, issued by appropriate authority, in a case where the date of birth is not available in Matriculation/ 10th Standard or equivalent certificate/mark sheets.
- Degree certificate as proof of educational qualifications claimed. In the absence of Degree certificate, provisional certificate along with mark sheets.
- Certificate(s) of experience should clearly mention the designation, duration (date, month & year), the basic pay and/or consolidated salary, and the nature of duties performed and experience obtained in the employment.
- Applications from employees working in Central/State Govt. Departments/ Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Organization and Govt. funded research agencies must be forwarded through proper channel. Advance copies of the application will also be considered subject to the conditions that a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer is produced at the time of personal discussion/ interview.
