Physical Measurements For Male/ Female Candidates
1. Height Required : - For Male Candidates: 165 Cm - For Female Candidates: 154 Cm
2. Chest Required Only For Male Candidate : - 81 Cm (Un Expanded) - 86 Cm (Expanded)
3. Weight Required : - For Male Candidates: Body Mass Index (BMI) - Should be 18.50 to 29.9 Kg./ M2 Minimum - For Female Candidates: 45 Kgs
Selection Process
The eligible applicant shall be issued call letter to appear for the following test. The date and Place of recruitment test will be indicated in call letters. Candidates will have to undergo the following tests. (i) Physical Measurement:- Candidates will be screened first for Height, Chest (Men), BMI Candidates will be screened first for Height and Weight for Women. (ii) Physical Efficiency Test:- Candidates who satisfy the above conditions of Physical measurement will be admitted for the Physical Efficiency test.
Physical Efficiency Test Details
(a) For Male candidates: Stage-I:- 800 mts run - 2.50 minutes Stage-II:- Long Jump - 3.80 mts Stage-III:- High Jump - 1.20 mts Stage-IV:- 100 meters run - 15.00 Seconds.
(b) For Female candidates: Stage-I:- 200 mts run - 45 minutes Stage-II:- Long Jump - 2.75 mts Stage-III:- High Jump - 0.90 mts
(iii) Written Test (200 Marks):- (i) All candidates who qualify in the Physical standards and Physical Efficiency tests shall undergo a written Test. The questions will be in objective type and will be generally of 10+2 standard. The question paper will be in two parts each of two hours duration (ii) The written test will be in English and Regional languages (i.e) for the candidate from Puducherry and Karaikal in Tamil, for Mahe in Malayalam and for Yanam in Telugu. The Questions for General English shall be only in the English Language.
(iv) Medical Test:- The candidates selected in the Written Test shall be subjected for medical examination to access their medical fitness as per the medical standards prescribed through the Standing Order issued by the Government.
