Candidates with local candidature of Andhra Pradesh belonging to OCs and BCs applying for the Posts of SI Civil or equivalent viz., SCT SI (Civil/ AR/ APSP), Deputy Jailor (Men), Deputy Jailers (Women) in Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Station Fire Officer in A.P. Fire & Emergency Services Department (Men) have to pay a fee of Rs.600/- towards processing of application, PMT/PET, written examinations etc.
Local candidates of Andhra Pradesh belonging to SCs and STs have to pay only Rs.300/-.
Candidate has to visit SLPRB Website www.slprb.ap.gov.in to pay prescribed Registration Fee by providing his/ her Basic personal details like Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Community and SSC Hall Ticket Number or its equivalent through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or any other mode made available on the SLPRB Website. Alternatively, the candidate may also visit any of the MeeSeva (e-Seva)/ AP Online Centres to pay the prescribed fee by providing above details and amount should be credited in favor of Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh.
Selection Process
The Selection Procedure/ Scheme of the Exam will be as follows:- a) The Preliminary Written Test will be held on 16.12.2018 (Sunday).
Paper-I [Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning/ Mental Ability (100 Questions) (Objective type)] from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM (3 hours),
Paper-II [General Studies (100 Questions) (Objective)] from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM on the same day.
The registered candidates may download their Hall Ticket from the website (08) days before the date of Preliminary Written Test.
The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test in both the papers is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs/STs/Ex-Servicemen.
Questions in the Paper-I and II will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen only.
Marks obtained in Preliminary Written Test will have no relevance in the Final selection, which will be based on the marks obtained in Final Examination only.
Physical Measurement for Male/ Female candidates
1. For the Post Code Nos. 11, 12, 13 and 16 For Men
Height: Must not be less than 167.6 centimeters.
Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimeters.
For Women
Height: Must not be less than 152.5 centimeters.
Weight: Must not be less than 40 Kgs.
2. For the Post Code No. 14
Height: Must not be less than 168 centimeters.
Chest: Must not be less than 87 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimeters.
