Application Fee
The examination fee is Rs.500/-. If the Police Departmental candidate applies for both open quota and departmental quota, he /she shall pay a sum of Rs.1000/- as examination fee and shall be paid either through cash challan or online payment.
Selection Procedure
All the eligible candidates will be called for Written Examination. The distribution of marks are as follows:- (a) For Open Quota:- (i) Written Examination:- 85 Marks, (ii) Special Marks for NCC, NSS & Sports / Games:- 5 Marks, (iii) Viva-Voice:- 10 Marks.
(b) For Departmental Quota:- (i) Written Examination:- 85 Marks, (ii) Special Marks for Winning of Medals in the National Police Duty Meet (Gold Medal – 5 marks, Silver Medal – 3 marks and Bronze Medal – 2 marks):- 5 Marks, (iii) Viva-Voice:- 10 Marks.
Note:- i) The duration of the Written Examination is 3.00 hrs. ii) Minimum qualifying marks in the written examination shall be 30 marks out of 85 marks. iii) The question paper will contain 170 objective type questions. Each question carries ½ mark.
Physical Measurements
In respect of open quota candidates, out of those who are qualified in the written examination, only three times of the number of notified vacancies in each of the category shall be permitted for next stage of selection based on the marks obtained by them. The Physical Measurement Test comprises of height measurement only. The minimum eligibility requirement is as follows:- 1. Height Required - For Male Candidates: 163 Cm - For Female, Transgender Candidates: 154 Cm
