About Raghu Rai:
i) Raghu Rai, full name Raghunath Rai Chowdhry, was born in the village of Jhang, Punjab, British India (now in Pakistan).
ii) During his career, he was awarded several awards such as:-
- In 1972, Padmashree (4th highest civilian award)
- In 1992, USA Photographer of the Year
- In 2019, Academie des Beaux-Arts Photography Award - William Klein.
